Ajay Devgn’s Action Jackson Trailer: Just Another Copy?

Ajay Devgn’s Action Jackson Trailer: Just Another Copy?

Happy New Year releases on Diwali, and so has Ajay Devgn revealed the trailer of his upcoming movie Action Jackson. But it does not impress!

Ajay Devgn‘s Action Jackson is a complete copy of dialogues and action that mind you, has been seen before! The action-romance movie seems to be good only at the latter (atleast it’s a little different!)

Ajay Devgn enters the scene with a sword, and starts the typical action sequence, with fire lightened all around, and men being thrown on ground in slow motion, with mary-go-round effects.

The next thing that follows is “Main Ek Hi Baar Bolta Hoon“, which is followed by the English translation “His First Warning” and another action sequence (this time through the window, and playing with water as seen during Bang Bang title song), after which follows a writing “is his last warning” and the dialogue then continues, “Kyunki Doosri Baar Sunne Ke Liye Tu Nahi Hoga” (just how iconic).

And just then the action sequence in rain reminds you of the angst Ranveer Singh faced during Ram-Leela.

And again the dialogue- “It’s my way, or the skyway” (reminds you of the 2 States song Do It My Way, Or The Highway?)

Now, you see the Singham Ajay Devgn, whose clothes tear off automatically reveals an amazing body! ( Salman Khan style, we think?)

Now he hits the villains like Shah Rukh Khan hit the red jeep during Chennai Express.

And now the description, he is AJ, made us LOL! (Mind you, you would love Singham by now if you haven’t already.)

Then enters Sonakshi Sinha, giving weird expressions while dancing and always catching Ajay Devgn in an awkward situation (Ajay Devgn also says “Pant utaarte hi saamne aa jaati hai”)

The only change in the movie starts now, when he dances to romance Sonakshi! And then enters two other heroines in his life, who are more seductive.

And then comes an action scene in a restaurant, where he flies the toothpick and also catches them somehow, after which he flies the finger weapon, and catches that too and beating up people with it.

The background sound “Punjabi Mast” however impresses.

Then he says “Pasand Aaya Toh Dil Mein, Nahi Toh Dimaag Mein Bhi Nahi” (from Salman Khan‘s Kick- Main Dil Mein Aata Hoon, Samajh Mein Nahi).

And what better way to end than Salman Khan; he says “Na Appointment, Na Commitment, Only Punishment), thus copying Wanted!

In short, Prabhudeva has kept his own style, copied from elsewhere (for example, blowing cars- a Rohit Shetty speciality).

Some Bollywood Myths Broken
---
Bollywood has taught us a lot of things. How to run, how to emote, how to propose, how to bash goons and much more. It is amazing how much we have learnt from films. At times we have learnt more from films than our textbooks. We all wish to see the fantasy land of films recreated in real life as well but that is wishful thinking. But we can definitely break some myths here. Here are some of Bollywood myths.
--
1. Sweet Sleep

Remember Aishwary Rai Bachchan sleeping with the moon in the backdrop in Devdas? Won’t you want to look that ravishingly beautiful while you sleep? Well, that’s never the case. You wish you look that serene and pretty but in reality you will be clumsy with perhaps all the hair on your face.

2. Let’s dance

It has always amazed us as to how the mob behind the hero or a heroine matches their steps so accurately with them when they break into a dance. They are just bang on! In reality, people will click a video of you and put it up on Youtube. We don’t know about flash mob but you will definitely become a youtube sensation.

3. Swiss love

Apparently winter is the best season to show off your jackets and cardigans. In fact, we feel that’s the season that prompts anyone to dress best given the fact that winter fashion rocks. But not for our heroines. With the Heros dressed to their head with warm clothes, heroine is left with just chiffon sarees to beat the cold. In reality, cold definitely hampers you and you wouldn’t even think about chiffon saree at that time.

4. Hero bleeds

How much ever you beat the hero, he generally bleeds only from the corner of his mouth or forehead. Anywhere else is just not cool. If hero shoots, even one shot is enough to kill a goon but if the latter shoots a round, they will not even touch her. In reality, you will die, period!

5. Bald is bad

It is an unsaid rule in Bollywood that if you are bald, you have to play negative characters. Anupam Kher was Dr. Dang while Kulbhushan Kharbandha was the ruthless shakal. Even our Sanjay Dutt went bald to play Kaancha Cheena in Agneepath reprise. But in reality, Bald doesn’t necessarily be bad. In today’s day and age, receding hairline is a common ailment. So if every bald guy turns bad, the whole humanity will go bad.

6. Run and grow

It is the best way to show how old you are. You may start the sprint as a seven year old but after the dramatic backdrop and the credits end; you are a 30 year old man. Seriously?! If growing up would have been that easy, we would have been great peopleby now.

Happy New Year’s Box Office Figures

Happy New Year’s Box Office Figures

UPCOMMING PK MOVIE AMIRKHAN

Making it to the many crore clubs and breaking records with every film have become the latest fad in Bollywood. Unless your film doesn’t lose behind a high moolah raking films, yours is a failed attempt. No wonder that at times we hear botched up box office figures to paint rosy picture. Happy New Year is the next film to get embroiled in fake figures controversy. Apparently, the film hasn’t made as much money as Red Chillies Entertainment is claiming in Andhra Pradesh.
According to latest reports, HNY has collected more that 100 crore in three days. Out of which, according to RedChillies, the film pocketed 1.43 crore in the first da from andhra.  It seems there is no truth to this tale. A Telugu film website called the numbers fake saying that HNY didn’t get even 143 screens, forget about 1.43 crores.

Well, we are still investigating as to who’s telling the truth and who is lying here. But we wonder if a film is making good money, why mire it with botched up figures? Doesn’t that hit a soft spot called respect? We wonder!
